Horse Back Ride Prospect Park

Ever wonder where those horses you see trotting around Prospect Park live? Right in your Brooklyn neighborhood at Kensington Stables. Built in the 1930’s Kensington Stables is the only remaining stable in the Prospect Park area. They offer riding lessons and trail rides along Prospect Parks bridle path (a 3.5 mile ride through varied terrain that passes the lake, arches and Midwood). This ride is open to ages 11 & up and to any skill level. (you can reach out to them for children under 11 for a price) If you get the chance stop by the stables and support this local gem.

Hours: Trail rides and pony rides from 10am to sunset every day of the year subject to weather restrictions. Lessons are by appointment between 7:30am and 8:30pm daily.
