Giant Ledge & Panther Mountain

A Catskill Endeavor

This hike is a great intro to the Catskill 3500 ( 35 peaks over 3500ft in altitude, along the Catskills) or just a fun day hike with some great views out of NYC. It is well marked with an easy to follow trail and is scalable to all hiking types. If you want a super short hike head to Giant Ledge #1 (FYI there’s 5 over looks or “ledges” if you decide to do the entire Giant Ledge trail, but #1 is awesome). Want to up your hiking game and challenge yourself? Endeavor to Panther Mountain Trail to complete a catskill 3500 peak, after giant ledge. No matter what you choose and how you scale this hike you’ll be glad you did.
