Kayak w/ Red Hook Boaters

Earlier this summer Brooklyn Base Camp took a trip down to Red Hook Boaters in Brooklyn, to squeeze in some midweek adventuring. The weather was perfect and the price FREE for the venture before dinner. A big thanks to the awesome volunteers at red hook boaters for running a fun operation. Looking forward to heading back and joining the beach cleanup.

Paddlers are free to explore the protected cove at their own pace and enjoy harbor views and wildlife of the estuary, but rides are limited to 15-20 minutes to give everyone a chance. Before or after your trip, join in the beach cleanup, removing trash that has washed ashore. They supply the gloves and trash bags.
